Inauguration of Prarthana Cancer Care Medicines on Cancer Day, Feb 4
Butterfly foundation and Confident Group, jointly opening a Subsidized Cancer Drug Pharmacy, "PRARTHANA CANCER CARE MEDICINES" at National Builders Shopping Complex, Bank junction, Edappally, Kochi. All kinds of cancer drugs and associated medicines will be made available up to 90% discount for cancer patients. Inauguration is on WORLD CANCER DAY, 04 Feb 2020 (5 pm) by Honourable District Collector Shri Suhas S, IAS, Shri T.A.Joseph, Director of Confident Group and Smt Poornima Indhrajith in the presence of Dr. Moni Abraham Kuriakose, Director, CCRC, Dr.Pavithran K, Oncologist AIMS and Shri Joseph Annamkutty Jose, RJ.
Butterfly received K Chittilappilly Award for Excellence in Social Service
Butterfly received the first meritorious Award for Excellence in Social Service 2020 by K Chittilappilly foundation (V Guard/wonderla founder Kochouseph Chittilapilly foundation) on 23rd January 2020. Safe shelter for our Butterflies Meenakshi and Lakshmi
We got an opportunity to provide clean, safe and secure house to one of our BERF fellow, Meenakshi who lost her father due to liver cancer and her house was completely affected by the floods. BCCF along with Rotary Cochin midtown worked together to built a two bedroom house for the family and on behalf of Butterfly family, BCCF coordinators attended the house-warming ceremony on March 17th.

We have a new family with us!!!
Rasiya and her three kids lost their sole breadwinner of the family when they lost Mr. Abdul Jaleel in a rescue attempt during the recent flooding in Kerala. Nothing can replace what they have lost; but in a conferring gesture, Butterfly decided to undertake the educational expenses of the two of their children.
We thank all the good hearts who came forward to help these kids.
BCCF stepped forward to help the sisters Nandana and Lakshmi, who lost their father and mother to cancer. Butterfly decided to provide healthcare and educational support to these kids. Thanks to Mr Reji, Mathrubhumi news, Kollam for reporting this news and Mr Girish Warrier, BCCF co-ordinator for the prompt actions in co-ordinating this case.
Inauguration of Butterfly Children's Free Clinic on 02 June
We are cordially inviting you all for the inaugural function of 'Butterfly Children's Free Clinics' on 2nd June 2018, at IMA Hall, Kaloor, Cochin. Major objective of this initiative is free cancer screening in children from financially backward families. These clinics will be opened at Kochi, Calicut and Trivandrum. Doctors in these clinics will coordinate with expert oncologists from major cancer hospitals in each city and conduct the diagnosis and treatment for kids. We will be collaborating with social organizations such as Kudumbashree, Janashree and ASHA service for identifying deserving kids for free diagnosis and treatment. Butterfly Cancer Care Foundation is an official charity partner of “IDBI Federal Life Insurance Spice Coast Marathon”. Our members, volunteers and supporters will be joining the event. This is not going to be another run, but fun and the run is designed in such a way that the route covers many historic land marks.

Lets join on Rajagiri Kids Fest event for cancer awareness
Butterfly Cancer care Foundation will be setting up a booth at Rajagiri Public School, Kalamassery on November 11, on the occasion of Rajagiri Kids Fest. BCCF organizers, volunteers will be explaining about the plight of cancer in children, prevention, and treatment and BCCF activities. BCCF would also distribute its second health newsletter which sheds light on myths and facts about cancer. BCCF would also arrange coloring books for children. We really appreciate your presence during the event.
Butterfly Education and Research Fellowship (BERF) is one of the prestigious program launched by BCCF on 2015. On successful completion of first year, a gathering of Butterfly fellows and their families, butterfly members and supporters were organized as “Butterfly Fellows Meet- 2016” at Asset Summit Hotel, Kalamassery, Cochin on 17th Sep 2016. The event was blessed with the presence of dignitaries, Dr. Renu Raj (Asst. Collector, Ernakulam), Shri P. Rajiv (MP), Dr A K K Unni (Amrita Hospital), Dr Dileep Panicker (Neurosurgeon, ASTER Medicity), Dr Geetha (Gastromedicine, ASTER Medicity), Dr Shaji Ayillath (Onco-surgeon, EUlive Clinic) and Ms Pearle Maaney (Actress).
